    Pumapunku Ruins Empty Pumapunku Ruins

Post by  Tue Jun 09, 2009 7:37 pm

I invite you to read about Pumapunku. This small archaeological site located near La Paz, Bolivia, contains some of the most astonishing ruins ever found. Massive interlocking stones weighing over 100 tons are found there. The site is said to be 17,000 years old. And yet, the stone carving and shaping is so precise that it cannot be matched with today's technology. If you haven't heard of Pumapunku, please read a bit. You will likely find it as fascinating as I do.

Pretty interesting link. The way the stone blocks fit together is very high tech and takes some serious precision in order to cut the angles properly. Have you ever heard of Graham Hancock? He's done some very interesting work in this area himself. I haven't read any of his books yet but I might someday. It all depends where my next interests and passions may lead me.
